Emergency Road Closure - Forge Lane and Church Farm Road, Upchurch - 3rd January 2024 (Swale)

It will be necessary to close Forge Lane and Church Farm Road, Upchurch from 3rd January 2024 for up to 7 days.

Forge Lane is closed at the junction of Church Farm Road and Church Farm Road is closed at the junction of Forge Lane.

The alternative route for Forge Lane is via: Horsham Lane, Otterham Quay Lane, A2 Moor Street, A2 London Road, A2 Keycol Hill, Sheppey Way, Ferry Road, The Street, Old Ferry Road, Raspberry Hill Lane, The Street, Forge Lane and vice versa.

The alternative route for Church Farm Road is via: Chaffes Lane, Oak Lane, The Street, Forge Lane and Church Farm Road.

This is to enable burst water main repairs to be carried out by Southern Water.

Enclosed is a copy of the Traffic Notice in confirmation of this.
