One of the worthy recipients of the 2025 Upchurch Community Award is Gill Gay in recognition of the unwavering dedication to the Upchurch Food Bank, providing vital support to those in need with generosity, selflessly and consistently, in all weather conditions. Well done Gill! Gill was presented with her certificate at the Upchurch Parish Meeting by Cllr Lewin and received a voucher for a High Tea, generously donated by The Barnyard Restaurant, Upchurch.
One of the worthy recipients of the 2025 Upchurch Community Award is Elspeth Baecke in recognition of her outstanding contribution and unwavering dedication to the community, particularly through her efforts in the Church Tower Restoration. Well done Elspeth! Elspeth was presented with her certificate at the Upchurch Parish Meeting by Cllr Lewin and received a voucher for a High Tea, generously donated by The Barnyard Restaurant, Upchurch.
The Council will be making awards to people who have made a difference to the Parish.
UPCHURCH PARISH COUNCIL COMMUNITY AWARD 2025
The Council will take part in the Community Award scheme to acknowledge and give recognition to a resident/group who has/have made a significant contribution to this community over a period of years. If you know of someone who has given this sort of service and merits an Award then please do nominate them. The person must live or work within the Parish Council boundary.
The winner will receive a certificate signed by the UPC Chairman and this will be presented at the Annual Parish Meeting on 10th April 2025.
